As a medical device professional, I spent 13 years wearing scrubs to work. During my career, I was always asked to do things unexpectedly-  unscheduled presentations, meetings and assisting patients to name a few.  I'd often have no choice but to present in frumpy scrubs that made me feel less than attractive and I'm certain I didn't perform nearly as well as I did when I had on my Marc Jacobs power suit.  Oh, and let's talk about how many potential dates I missed out on because I didn't have the confidence to say hello to all the good looking men I passed in my ill fitting scrubs.  Yes, I'm pretty sure my lack luster uniform is the reason for my perpetual singledom.
